How a meeting runs

Walk in whenever.

Each segment stands on its own, so you never need to have been to an earlier meeting. A greeter at the door will tell you what is happening and where to sit.

    A short "what is this club" intro and the gig and collaboration board.

    Workshop or guest speaker

    Beginner-friendly and stand-alone. The topic rotates every month.

    Newcomers are greeted and introduced.

    Everyone gets a turn. Listening is always welcome.

Good to know

  • Bring an instrument if you like. Instruments are welcome. The library's one ask is that we keep the volume reasonable, so acoustic instruments and small amps at a modest level are fine. Leave the full stack at home.
  • Lidded drinks only. The library does not allow food in the auditorium.
  • All ages. Young musicians under 18 are welcome and encouraged to come with a parent or guardian. Young children should not be left unattended.
  • No sales or advertising. Library rules do not allow selling, promoting, or tip jars on the premises. Swapping contact details is fine.
  • The room is equipped. The auditorium has chairs and tables we can arrange, plus a PA, a microphone, and a projector.
  • Help us reset the room. We put the furniture back and leave the room clean, so a hand at the end is appreciated.
